Just went a little out of my comfort zone and read a YA fantasy, wild-west, novel that a friend of a friend wrote. Just have to say that I was extremely impressed by her writing and while I’m not the biggest fan of the wild-west stuff, this is good—like way good. I’m extremely proud of myself for diving into it and finished a happy camper. Loved the idea of the relics and loved Alvar’s character. Nicely done friend of a friend…who is actually a friend of my sister-in-law.
Please check her out. She’s awesome! Renee Collins’s, Relic
Also check out her other two books that are just as good as relic, if not better: Until we meet again and Remember me always.
